The warmth of ochre and gold is balanced by cool greens and soft shadows, creating a harmony of colour and atmosphere that feels both intimate and timeless.

Sarah Wimperis’s painting invites comparison with Pierre Bonnard and Édouard Vuillard, masters of the domestic interior bathed in light and memory. Like them, she transforms the ordinary into something tenderly observed and deeply felt.
