Watercolour Work
Watercolour has been with me for as long as I can remember — it’s the medium I always return to, whatever else I’m exploring. There’s something endlessly fascinating about its transparency and unpredictability: the way colour blooms into water, edges blur, and accidents turn into magic.
My watercolours range from tiny, intimate studies to large, expressive pieces that fill the page with light and movement. Whether painted en plein air or in the quiet of my studio, each one is an attempt to capture atmosphere — the shimmer of reflected light, the calm of still water, or the quick flash of a passing cloud.
I love how watercolour demands both control and surrender; it records every hesitation and every bold mark. These paintings feel closest to my hand and heart — honest, direct, and alive with the joy of painting itself.
