New Feet Within My Garden Go.

The title of this painting derives from an Emily Dickenson poem about new generations setting foot in, and tending to, her garden while the seasons continue to roll no mater what happens. Here it is early summer in a dream-like garden. Tulips, narcissus, forget me nots, the first roses.  This painting is a celebration of the time of year as well as an homage to the healing power of gardens. It is painted with thoughts of Monet's garden, Klimt and van Gogh's brush marks and could well have been titled “In the Garden with Claude, Gustav and Vincent”

This painting is available from the Brian Sinfield Gallery
